Robbie Savage is stepping into the EFL spotlight as he takes the reins at Peterborough. This marks his first managerial role in the league after clocking 120 games in non-league management with Forest Green and Macclesfield.
In the swirling world of football management, BBC Sport keeps tabs on all the significant moves across the Premier League, Scottish Premiership, Women's Super League, English Football League, and National League.
On November 1, Dave Challinor joined Sheffield Wednesday, adding to the roster of new appointments.
The managerial shuffle continued with Fabio Celestini taking over at Burnley on October 28, followed by Tom Hounsell at Wycombe Wanderers on October 10 and Michael Duff on October 6 at Bradford City. Robbie Savage officially became Peterborough's new boss on October 2, with Pete Wild stepping in at Hartlepool on October 1.
On the flip side, the departure list includes Andy Butler, who left Scunthorpe United on October 28, and Henrik Pedersen, who exited Sheffield Wednesday on October 25. Nicky Hayen parted ways with Burnley on October 24, while Andy Woodman left Bromley on October 22, and Colin Kazim-Richards exited Crawley Town on October 21.
Earlier in October, Lee Cattermole departed from Gateshead on October 4, and Robbie Savage made his own exit from Forest Green Rovers on October 2.
September was also a busy month for managerial changes. Graham Alexander joined Preston North End on September 28, only to leave Bradford City on the same day. Luke Williams and Lee Clark both exited Peterborough and Hartlepool, respectively, on September 19, while Paul Heckingbottom made his exit from Preston North End on September 13. Michael Duff left Wycombe Wanderers on September 8, and Glenn Whelan departed from Livingston the next day.
