Concern for En-Neyah as Truro's Match with Folkestone is Halted
In a shocking turn of events, Saturday’s clash between Folkestone Invicta and Truro City was abandoned before it even kicked off. The incident unfolded during the warm-up when Truro midfielder Yassine En-Neyah collapsed, prompting immediate medical attention. The 26-year-old En-Neyah, who joined Truro from Waterford in February 2023 and has made a notable impact this season with one goal in 11 appearances, was quickly taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford for further evaluation. "Yassine En-Neyah required medical assistance during the warm-up and was transferred to the William Harvey hospital in Ashford for further treatment," Truro City stated. "We will provide a further update in due course." Before the match was called off, Truro City was sitting comfortably in second place in the National League South, while Folkestone was positioned in 15th. The focus now shifts to En-Neyah's health as the football community rallies around him.
